(Excuse the selfie, I'm usually behind the camera!)
About me
Hello there, I'm Kimberley.
I started my photography business because I believe life is full of wonderful stories, people and places that should be captured! I'm passionate about many types of photography, but I love shooting portraits to bring out the best in people when it's their moment to shine.
What training do I have?
A camera has not left my side for over ten years and they say practice makes perfect! But I have also completed training with Nikon and photography studios, plus regularly do training modules with industry leaders such as Lara Jade, Phlearn and Creative Live, to brush up on my knowledge and skills.
In my kit bag you’ll find the following prime lenses, so I am ready for any brief or situation:
24mm, 35mm, 50mm, 105mm, 24-70mm, 70-200mm
What experience do I have?
As a short summary, here goes…
Reiss, Topshop and H&M have hired me to capture stores interiors, visual merchandising and products, in addition to their customer events.
At corporate conferences I love capturing candid delegate moments and speakers in action, plus the branding, atmosphere and little details.
For the last five years I have shot many designers at London Fashion Week (catwalk, backstage and presentations) often covering on average eight shows per day over the five day period.
Numerous individuals and families have had headshots and portraits taken that showcase their individuality, character and special moments in their lives.
Big brand clients include:
Neutrogena
Bulleit Bourbon
Folklore Handbags
Reiss
H&M
Topshop
Numerous brands for London Fashion Week
What kind of images can I capture?
The types of photography I cover are:
Portraits and Headshots
Families (bumps, babies and family)
Fashion and Commercial
Interiors
Events and Conferences
What kind of style do I use?
This totally depends on the brief, but I'm working for you, so it's your call on what style we incorporate into the shoot.
For headsets and portraits I like to keep the atmosphere relaxed so we can make you feel at ease. They can be taken in your office, home, outdoors or at my studio. I love black and white photography for dramatic portraits, and bokeh to ensure the person really stands out.
At events and conferences I try not to intrude and be a fly on the wall. This results in great candid shots that really capture the atmosphere. I enjoy getting action shots of speakers too. Marketing departments always like shots of branding and marketing materials for use on social media, so this is something I always make time for.
For product shots I ensure sharp, detailed and high resolution images are provided, so they can be used across the client’s marketing mix. Fashion is a whole other ball game - it’s all about the poses, facial expressions and showing off the clothing to perfection!
Interior photography must be light, airy and provide a real sense of the space.
About me:
I live in Singapore with my husband (and hopefully a dog soon, if I can persuade him!) and am a real foodie/wine lover. When my hands aren't preoccupied with a camera I enjoy pilates, cooking, pottery and volunteering at local dog shelters.
